Few people enter our home without commenting on our collection of books that are displayed rather prominently in our living room.  Those who stay long enough eventually realize that there is no TV, either.  We’re certainly not above catching the latest episode of “Hawaii Five-O” on Hulu, but after 3 1/2 years without, we’ve determined that “absence makes the heart grow fonder” does not apply to televisions.  So, we find that books come in handy.  We each have our own taste, although we do overlap a bit regarding our shared interests in American colonial history and classic works of American and British  literature.  Thus, we’ve decided to keep our libraries separate here, but you may find that a few books appear in both.
